Silsila Songs (1981)

Silsila is a 1981 Bollywood film directed by Yash Chopra. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Shashi Kapoor, Jaya Bhaduri, Sanjeev Kumar and Rekha. The film is said to be based on Amitabh Bachchan's personal life as in late 70's and early 80's, the romance between Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha was the most talked about news from Hindi film industry.

The songs are awesome and are composed by Shiv Kumar Sharma and Hari Prasad Chaurasia. And Amitabh Bachchan himself has sung a few songs which are quite famous.

Umrao Jaan Songs [1981]

Umrao Jaan was directed by Muzaffar Ali, and when the movie was released in 1980 it was a blockbuster. The first thing that comes to mind when we remember Umrao Jaan is the stunning Rekha. Farooq Sheikh, Naseruddin Shah and Raj Babbar have well performed the role of Nawab Sultan, Gauhar Mirza and Faiz Ali.

Muqaddar Ka Sikandar was directed by Prakash Mehra and was released in 1978. Its featuring Amitabh Bachchan as Sikandar, Vinod Khanna as Vishal Anand, Nirupa Roy as Fatima and Rekha as Zohrabai.


The songs are the best of the decade, and the music is given by Anandji Veerji Shah & Kalyanji Veerji Shah. All the songs are touching and they also are from the best singers from the century.
